iSHELTER

We're starting iSHELTER as a project for commercializing a Web & iPhone/iPad based caretaking and well-being platform solution with various human activity & body sensor network related functions, with key focus on data collection, history management & meta-diagnostic analysis.

The actual core solution functionality agreed on the concepting phase of the project need to be ”Cocoa Touch-ified” for the service app UIs. Solution will target the lifestyle-managing, active seniors or also the physically impaired.

The project duration is around 6 months.

Project deliverables

- the iPhone/iPad app for managing & sensing human activity data functions
- caretaker widget/Web App for remote monitoring of activity data
- server executable for data analysis - hosted on external hosting solution

R&D track
- iPhone/iPad iOS 4 based App
- Javascript/HTML5 Web App
- Google App Engine based server back end

Business track
- business plan & market analysis (in finnish LTS, liiketoimintasuunnitelma)
- marketing strategy (Web 2.0, blog, viral channels vs ”traditional” channels specific for the solution domain)

Sought persons & competences
We'll be driving a quick ramp-up with proof of concept and solution architecture focus – team work skills, quick adoption of new ideas and productive and creative state of mind is on of the key assets for our best-qualifying candidates.

We look for a few Key Team persons with expertise on
- Solution & service focused marketing & sales (business case & M&S strategy planning)
- Apple iOS SW architecture/SW development including Core Data
- JavaScript/HTM5/Web App architectures and application layer development
- J2EE, PHP & SQL or BigTable Data architectures & Development

We don't assume a single geek's competence set will fully cover these :-) but proven depth on one or few will compensate on lack of width on this spectrum.
